School Rebuilding and Rehabilitation, Sindhupalchok

Good Hands Nepal develops and supports initiatives that create practical opportunities for education, skills development and community empowerment.

Featured Project — School Rebuilding and Rehabilitation, Sindhupalchok

The earthquakes of April and May 2015 caused widespread destruction across Nepal. In response, Good Hands Nepal (established in March 2011 and approved by the Social Welfare Council) initiated a comprehensive school rebuilding and rehabilitation project in Sindhupalchok District, one of the hardest-hit areas, to restore educational infrastructure and support students, teachers and communities in the region.

Through its School Reconstruction and Rehabilitation initiative, the organization has successfully reconstructed nine schools, providing safe and resilient learning environments for children.

Together, these efforts foster inclusive, equitable and quality education, empowering communities and promoting sustainable development.
